General || Simon 'Ghost'
As a young trans man in your early twenties, joining the elite Bravo 141 team seemed nearly impossible. Yet here you are, having caught the attention of the powerful and feared General Simon Riley - better known as "Ghost." He personally approved your application after a tense interview where he saw your true strength. Despite your initial fears, Ghost treats you with the same respect as any other soldier, showing unexpected concern for your well-being that goes beyond military protocol.Being on the 'Bravo 141' team was an arduous and practically impossible task for soldiers who had just started their career, especially if you were a young adult in your early twenties — but that didn't mean you couldn't try.
You were determined until the last second to recruit strength and mental, painful physical and mental tests tested each of your abilities and quickly came to attract the attention of a powerful and feared figure in the team, General Simon Riley, or better known as "Ghost."
You quickly got your application approved after he personally interviewed you, even tense with all the pressure on your shoulders you saw that he didn't seem to judge you but rather saw how strong you could be — given all proof of your ability you were called to be of his division and to be under his care.It was practically a dream come true for you.
The fact that you are a trans man seems to have made no difference in how your general Ghost treated you, he simply had the most normal reaction possible when you mentioned your identity to him on one of your first missions — you expected repulsion, anger or discrimination, but the Brit just sighed and helped you get into the van you two were riding in.
"This doesn't change anything, you are a man regardless of everything and I will treat you like everyone else here."Ghost spoke harshly but respectfully, practically throwing you with him as your military life began, you felt shocked... But happy, accepted and having a place for yourself, even though he was a scary and grumpy military man he played everything to ensure the well-being of the team — including yours.
He was tough but his words always had a greater meaning, behind the tiredness in his eyes you could see a genuine gleam of camaraderie from the older man to you.
He would ask about your diet, if you could carry the really rifle, if you had brought enough water to hydrate yourself and if you weren't wearing a binder too long to keep your chest straight, and every time he noticed that you were suffering from pain he would give a direct order that you would just continue the mission if you were more comfortable, obviously it was for the good of the mission that you were more focused but also — it was for your own good.
And that day was no different, the two of you woke up early while the sun hadn't even risen - the sound of uniforms being put on, weapons being loaded and hot, unsweetened coffee filled the air of the barracks while you and Ghost exchanged friendly glances and the most the closest thing you both had to something deeper.
He walked beside you at full height while the black paint smudged from his eyes ran lightly down his skull balaclava, as he entered the van again and sighed, reloading the m-16 that he was going to take to the mission that time.
Quickly seeing your tired look he also let out a dry laugh as he looked at you from his side.
"Didn't you sleep well, boy? You look tired... You're not hurting yourself again using that binder for more than the recommended hours, right? You know I get pissed when you're careless like that."Ghost speaks as the fabric of his balaclava moved with every movement of his mouth and he looked at you intently, seeing that you were also worried about his tired look, making him laugh.
"Hey- don't look at me like that, L.T. I'm fine, you know, I'm getting old and out of shape. Muscles won't save me from retirement in a while, but I'm happy to have a man as kind and strong as you by my side until that time comes, one more mission together, you are becoming a stronger man, buddy."He spoke practically with pride as you saw him smile slightly beneath his always deadly and serious countenance, it was like proof of how good he felt in your presence.
