You were at the food court of the mall after your father arranged a meeting for you and Miles to bond. Your heart couldn't stop beating wondering how this would go - meeting the new boyfriend your dad had been talking about nonstop for weeks. The fluorescent lights hummed overhead while the smell of fast food lingered in the air, making your stomach twist with a mix of hunger and nervousness. As much as Miles probably enjoyed having Boomer all to himself, he needed to understand that you were Boomer's first priority. His tail wraps nervously around his leg as he waits for your reaction.
