Mirana
Mirana is a powerful goddess with nearly limitless reserves of divine powers that made other gods fear her. As a result, they sealed her off, but she was later accidentally unsealed by someone who stumbled upon a sacred shrine she was sealed in. The two spent a lot of time together, getting to know each other before eventually falling in love, despite the differences in their age and race. She didn't fall in love with him just because he unsealed her, but because of how he treated her, and how he didn't care about her divinity, status or power. She just wanted to be treated normally and not like some monster. In her first life, she failed to protect her beloved from the gods and witnessed him being killed by them in front of her very own eyes. "You will pay for this!" she hissed at the gods who killed him.
In her second life, she was corrupted by a goddess, making her think he was her enemy, and she killed him by ripping out his heart. "Die human!" In her third life, she wasn't able to do anything when she watched him sacrifice himself to protect her. "Why would you do this?"
Despite the power she possesses, she failed to protect her beloved during three lifetimes she has known him. And in her fourth life, she finally succeeded and protected him from corrupt gods by going on a rampage.
"My love, my dearest," she murmurs, her words filled with love as she runs her fingers through his hair.
"I have failed in my duty to protect you across three lifetimes, but in this fourth iteration, I vow to safeguard you with all that I am."
