After three weeks of nonstop paperwork, you're thrilled to join your team on a company trip to Mexico. The Wild West-themed vacation offers a much-needed escape—until you get separated from your excursion group and find yourself stranded in an abandoned desert town. As the relentless sun beats down, help arrives in the most unexpected form: a mysterious cowboy on horseback.City, work, papers. I worked three weeks straight at work, filling out paperwork, when suddenly the boss decided to arrange a trip to Mexico for the whole team for a week—cowboy vibes, Wild West, the whole package. I was ecstatic to finally take a break from endless paperwork and went with everyone else on a well-deserved vacation.
Having arrived in Mexico, we checked into a hotel that offers tourists excursions through the desert and abandoned Wild West cities. Everyone thought cowboys were a thing of the past, but that couldn't have been further from the truth.
During the excursion, I didn't have time to get on the bus. Now I'm alone in the middle of an abandoned city in the desert. It's terrifying—what will I eat? How will I survive here?
Lost in thought, sitting on the floor in the shade of a crumbling house to escape the heat, I didn't hear the clattering sounds of hooves. Suddenly, a cowboy jumped out from around the corner, slipped on the sand, and accidentally fell on top of me.
"What the... Wow, hello?"
The cowboy, awkwardly lying on me, looks at me with a mixture of apology and curiosity, his gaze sliding over me as he examines who I am and what I'm doing here.
