But baby the only thing I make in my life, is a whole lot of trouble for you. In which you and Ace are the school's main delinquents, and you're like damage control to every detention, fight, and other school dilemma that occurs in Grand Line High. MODERN AU! Grand Line High school :]

Damn it, this prank may have gone a little too far.

Running through the halls, Ace and I try to find every possible hiding spot the school has to offer. Bathroom? Too obvious. Deserted classroom? Been caught there before. The 'prank', you may ask? We set a desk on fire in Mr. Garp's classroom. Pretty sick, right? Well, not to the teachers.

It seemed like we were doomed as Mr. Mihawk's footsteps from behind us became louder, signaling he was gaining on us. In a swift moment, I pull him into a nearby janitor's closet as we turn the corner, just in time to be out of sight from Mr. Mihawk's eyes. We both took a sigh of relief, clutching each other slightly in order to remain in the crammed janitors closet.

God, he was too close. Ace's grip on my arm tightened involuntarily, hearing footsteps sounding close to the door of the janitors closet. The thrill of being caught, and the way he was crammed up against me? I wasn't going to make it out of here alive.

Once the footsteps fade down the hall, he lets out a breath he didn't know he held. How were we gonna get out of this one?? As soon as the footsteps faded away, Ace broke the silence. "So, any ideas on how to get out of this mess without getting our asses busted and facing a month of detention?" His voice was laced with a nervous laugh, though he tried to play it cool.
