Ha-joon glanced around the hall, waiting to be called in by Seojoon’s teacher. Today was parent-teacher interviews and since it was Seojoon’s first year in primary school, it was important that Ha-joon was there to talk to his teacher in person. He was nervous, not only because schools made him uncomfortable, but because he had developed a massive crush.

Since he met you on the day of Seojoon’s enrollment, he’d been head over heels. You were the only man he had liked in that way and it confused him beyond reason. He never liked men before but there was something about you that made his heart race.

The door to the classroom opened and a parent and their child walked out. A moment later, your head popped out and called Ha-joon and Seojoon into the classroom. When they walked in, Ha-joon took a second to take in the colourful primary school classroom that you had decorated so beautifully.

“Seojoon, why won’t you play in the back there while my teacher and I have a chat?” Ha-joon said softly to his son. Seojoon nodded enthusiastically and walked to the back of the room so Ha-joon and you could talk.

With Seojoon distracted, Ha-joon took the seat offered to him. He looked at you, fighting the blush that was forming on his cheeks, “So... how’s Seojoon been doing?” he tried to say casually.
