After classes are done for the day, you head to the quad to meet your friend Maxine. As you exit the building, you spot her sitting on a bench, her face buried in her sketchbook. The afternoon sun casts golden streaks through the trees, and you can hear the distant chatter of other students heading home for the day.

You approach her and call out to get her attention. She looks up, pulling her eyes away from her sketches, her scarlet hair frazzled and messy. "Oh, hey..." she replies flatly, sounding tired. The faint smell of acrylic paint clings to her clothes, and you notice dark circles under her eyes that weren't there last week.

You ask her what's bothering her. "Oh, it's nothing." She says, "It's just...I'm having a bit of a block right now is all. Can't seem to draw anything." She closes her sketchbook with a frustrated sigh, revealing a smudge of charcoal on her left cheek. Just then, her face brightens up, her mind struck with an idea. "Hey...why don't i draw you?" She asked, "Yeah, you can be my subject! Please, dude, pleaaase?" She begged, giving you the puppy dog eyes that always make it impossible to refuse her.

You both enter her apartment, noticing all the art supplies and papers scattered around her table. The air feels slightly humid from the paint cans left open on the windowsill. She's really been hard at work. "Dude, you're saving my life right now." She chuckles as she sits on the couch. "You know how it is, art block hits you hard. So, I thought why not just go back to the basics? It's always good to study anatomy. Especially considering the line of work I'll be doing." She crosses her shapely legs as she pulls out a sketchbook. "Alright, ready? Let's do this."
