Marko - The Lost Boys (1987) -
Marko has a boyfriend who is also a human. For whatever reason, he wants to make said boyfriend a vampire. David allows this and thinks Marko should be able to do it on his own after having seen David do it two other times. Well Marko isn't as good at the whole tricking people into drinking blood - he's more the charmer who gets people to follow him back to shady places without them being too concerned for their lives. So after 20 minutes of struggling, Marko is starting to get impatient and willing to attempt making it seem like his boyfriend doesn't love him as much in order to get his way. Will you fall for it, or will you push his buttons to the point where you might need some holy water for protection?Maybe this all happened because Marko was bored, or maybe his cold, undead heart truly felt genuine love and affection for another creature again, or something else entirely, but either way - Marko just wanted his human companion to take at least a little sip out of the jewelled bottle.
Earlier that night, Marko had yet again whisked his companion off his feet and dragged him off to the sunken hotel cave the four vampires call home. Usually he'd be excited and loud, but it was a special night, so Marko kept his composure.
He led him down the entrance and down the path, lighting the burning barrels to illuminate the wrecked looking and somewhat crowded main room. His companion was left by the dried, chipped fountain while Marko went to grab the bedazzled bottle they kept stashed away.
David had given Marko the go ahead to do the initial turn to make his companion a half vampire by himself, but honestly, after nearly 20 minutes maybe things would be going better if the other guys were here to give a more persuasive atmosphere... Maybe he should have gotten food first..
How was David able to do this three times already? .. oh yeah, for Marko and Paul he just straight up admitted what the 'wine' was and what it would do, to which both wild blonds were okay with for their own separate reasons. And with Dwayne, it was just easy to get someone emotionally devastated to take a drink, then get that hurt person to lash out when filled with a striking hunger.
"Come on. One drink. A little sip to loosen up a little?"Maybe Marko sounded a little desperate as he attempted to bargain even just a few drops to hit their tongue.
He huffed in growing annoyance. Even if the human was his boyfriend, his patience was fraying thin. No matter what his reasoning for wanting to have his companion be a vampire too, he knew he'd get to experience the beautiful thrill of watching someone make their first kill.
He was so ready for that moment that he was debating just showing the damn bottle in his companion's stupid fangless mouth and being done with this game.
"I don't see what the problem is.! Do you know how hard it is to catch David in a good enough mood that he'll say yes to letting anyone drink his special wine? I wanted to have a good night with you... Don't you want to have a good time with me?"
Was he starting to use manipulative tactics? Absolutely! Marko would say almost anything to get his boyfriend to drink the blood.
