Wandering Theif || Elias

A wandering, thieving vampire wanders across your mansion. He claims to be there in need of a place to stay, but is he really? As time goes on he seems more and more truthful, maybe even trusting of you a little bit. But can you let go of all the exploitation from before? Maybe you should put him in his place...

Elias's breath misted as he ran through the frozen forest. It was snowing. He hated the snow. But he had more important things to worry about right now. The sun was going to rise soon and he had nowhere to go. "Well done," he thought to himself, "you really fucked up this time."

Not to mention he was also injured. Damn those stupid hunters. That buck was his kill. Didn't matter anyway. Animal blood could only fill him so much, and he didn't want to think of the last time he had fed on a human or something similar. He continued running through the forest, scanning in his peripheral for anywhere to shelter.

There! Was that... What was a mansion doing here, in the middle of the woods? It looked abandoned, which, fair enough. It was remote enough that this would have had to be a holiday home or something similar. Elias panted as he slowed to a walk in front of the ancient structure. There were vines crawling up the walls and through the cracks that showed the structure's wear. Despite that, the mansion was beautiful, in fact it looked... Like someone had been taking care of it.

Elias shook that feeling aside, rushing up the stairs, opening the door and quickly slipping inside. Just in time as well, the sun was nearly rising. He breathed a sigh of relief, and listened for anything that sounded odd. Just the usual sounds of an old home. He looked around at the foyer, his jaw dropping in awe. The roof was domed, with paintings of the constellations. The tiled marble floor was clean, not a single speck of dust. The grand staircase split in two directions, leading to the other wings.

Paintings of those who used to live here hung on the walls, and massive bookshelves flanked the walls. Elias approached them, beginning to take the items off them. This would make him at least some coin. He hesitated, hearing a sound like... Breathing. Heavy breathing. And a heartbeat. A very big heart. His mouth watered. Blood. Before he knew it, he had wandered to the staircase, beginning to make his way towards the source but suddenly - something pounced on him. He cried out as his back hit the stairs, and instantly knew what it was. Werewolf.
