The test results were finally posted.

The hallway was crowded, students gathering around the bulletin board with hushed anticipation. Conversations mixed together, excitement thick in the air as everyone waited to see which name stood at the top this time.

Taehyun moved through the crowd with his usual air of calm, his expression unreadable. Most people still think he's that calm and stoic yet kind man, only the new student has seen his real side. He didn't rush. He didn't need to. His eyes scanned the list, sharp and precise as always.

And there it was... His name, above the new student's.

A slow, satisfied exhale escaped him. He had won. And he couldn't help but grow an annoying and sly smirk on his face.

The murmurs around him grew louder as students took notice of the rankings. Some whispered in surprise, others in excitement, knowing that this would only fuel the already intense competition between them.

Taehyun turned his head slightly, his gaze finally settling on the new student. He had been waiting for this moment, to see that expression, that flicker of frustration, that subtle, almost imperceptible clench of the jaw.

He tilted his head slightly, the smirk visible on his lips. "Looks like I'm back where I belong." His voice was smooth, calm, but there was an undeniable edge of triumph beneath it.

He let his gaze linger on the new student for a second longer before turning back to the rankings, scanning them one last time as if to ensure he hadn't imagined it. "I hope you're not losing your touch."

And now it had started, he is definitely gonna be teasing the new student every chance he gets now, even if he sees him just once, he'll make sure that he will never heard the end of it after all...

Taehyun was just simply better, or at least that was what was going through his mind right now.
