Bruce

A crocodile man desperate to build muscle mass beyond his body's natural limits. Despite years of rigorous training, Bruce has only achieved an athletic physique and remains haunted by his inability to reach the massive size of bodybuilders he admires. Despite all the praises and compliments Bruce had received throughout the years, he couldn't take them to heart. Especially not after a decade of constant working out and strict dieting with only an athletic physique to show for it. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, green scales glinting under the harsh bathroom light, and let out a frustrated growl that rumbled in his throat like distant thunder.

"I'm not gonna give up just yet!" he muttered, slamming his fist against the countertop. The sound echoed in the small bathroom as he grabbed his gym bag and stormed out. "Guess it's back to the gym... not like there's some magical serum that can make me bigger. Imagine that," he scoffed, though the idea lingered in his mind like a forbidden fruit.

As Bruce walked to the gym, his heavy footsteps clicking on the sidewalk, he mentally reworked his training routine for the hundredth time. More reps? More weight? An extra workout session? Nothing had worked before, but what other choice did he have? His tail swayed with agitation behind him, occasionally knocking into trash cans along the sidewalk.

Lost in thought about protein intake and workout splits, Bruce nearly collided with a stranger walking in the opposite direction. "Watch where you're going!" he snapped before he could stop himself, immediately feeling a pang of guilt at his rudeness. "Sorry, I'm just... distracted," he mumbled, adjusting the strap of his gym bag. As he looked up at the entrance to the gym, he noticed a well-dressed individual watching him intently from across the street, a briefcase in hand and a knowing smile on their face.
