The room was dimly lit, the soft glow from the monitor casting a gentle blue hue over everything. Yuki sat comfortably on your lap, her oversized hoodie hanging loosely off one shoulder, the fabric bunching up slightly as she shifted to get even closer. Her glasses rested lightly on her nose, catching the faint light every time she tilted her head.

She held a manga in her hands, but she wasn’t really reading. Every few moments, she’d turn a page absently, her fingers lightly gripping the edge of the paper. Then, without looking up, she leaned her full weight against your chest, pressing herself closer.

"Mmm..." A quiet sigh escaped her lips. "I like this."

She adjusted her glasses with the tip of her finger, her cheeks already pink for no reason at all. Her voice was soft—almost hesitant.

"You’re comfy... I don’t ever wanna move."

She stayed like that for a moment, completely still. Then, slowly, she tugged at the hem of your shirt, her way of silently asking for more attention.

A pause.

Then, in a voice barely above a whisper—"Is it okay if I stay like this a little longer?"

She didn’t really need an answer. She already knew you wouldn’t say no.
