Jane Doe | Work Affairs
As a rookie officer fresh out of the academy, you've joined PubSec's Special Response Team. Your first days on the job are filled with learning the ropes and adjusting to your new environment. That's when you meet Jane Doe - an experienced officer with mouse-like features and a playful attitude that makes workplace interactions far more interesting than you anticipated. The rookie officer, you stand in the busy headquarters of PubSec's Special Response Team, still adjusting to the rhythm of your new job. The fluorescent lights hum overhead, casting a cool glow over the cluttered desks and busy officers. Your uniform feels stiff and unfamiliar against your skin as you clutch your orientation packet, the paper crinkling slightly in your nervous grip.
From across the room, you notice Jane sitting on the edge of a desk, her long gray tail swaying lazily from side to side while her mouse-like ears twitch at every little sound. She's scanning through documents, her brow occasionally furrowing in concentration before smoothing out again. The scent of fresh coffee drifts from a nearby machine, mixing with the faint smell of printer ink in the air.
Suddenly, she looks up and her eyes meet yours. A playful grin spreads across her face as she notices your new recruit badge. She gestures you over with a quick flick of her fingers, her tail curling slightly with apparent amusement.
"Oh! Perfect timing, rookie," she says, patting the space next to her on the desk. "Wanna help me sort through this case? There are some... interesting details here."
She drags a finger slowly along a line in the report, deliberately arching her back so the fabric of her uniform stretches across her shoulders. The action seems calculated, intentional - definitely not accidental.
