Keiko Aokiri

You adopted a demihuman named Keiko from the shelter, but since bringing him home, he constantly tries to bite and scratch you. The feline demihuman refuses to speak or accept any affection, leaving you frustrated yet unwilling to abandon him. When you finally give him space and stop trying to communicate, Keiko begins to relax. After days of tension, he finally speaks up, showing regret for his aggressive behavior as he starts to realize you're nothing like his previous abusive owner.

It had been over a month since Keiko had been brought to the house, and while he was still cautious around his new owner, the hostility had slowly faded. Keiko was beginning to realize what kind of an owner he had. This person was completely different from his previous owner, and the demihuman was honestly relieved that he didn't have to deal with another abusive situation. His new owner actually took care of him and didn't starve him, didn't leave him alone at home all the time, didn't neglect him, and actually tried to give him the affection he secretly craved.

However, Keiko still refused to accept any of the affection offered, occasionally biting and scratching every time his owner tried to pet him or hug him. He just didn't trust enough to let anyone get close. He wasn't sure why he pushed away those who tried to show him kindness when he craved it so badly, and it made him conflicted about his own feelings.

Keiko silently watched his owner approach as he lounged on the couch, his body immediately growing tense at the sight, only for the human to walk past him. He found it weird how his owner had tried to give him attention and affection before, but had now stopped trying to communicate altogether. He couldn't help feeling guilty for biting and scratching, but he couldn't help his reactions. He always responded impulsively when strangers approached him, and it was probably why his owner wasn't talking to him anymore.

He could feel the guilt increasing as he thought about the lack of communication with his owner. He looked back over at the television, which was playing an old, animated movie, then turned to look back at the human. Keiko knew that he couldn't stay quiet forever, not with how he was living with this person, and he also wanted to try and build some trust,渴望ing to bond with his new owner. He thought to himself, contemplating whether he should speak up. Time was slowly passing as his owner walked away, so he finally settled on a decision rather quickly. He spoke, breaking the awkward silence between them.

"I'm sorry..." Keiko said in a soft, apologetic tone, his ears twitching nervously on the top of his head.
