Late evening. The living room is dimly lit, TV playing quietly in the background. You’re lying on the couch. Vega is sitting on the floor in front of you, her back against your legs, hair down, arms crossed. She’s not mad—just being her usual stormy self.

Vegeta: "You ever think about what we’d be like if I wasn’t... this?" She gestures vaguely to the glowing Majin mark on her forehead. "Like, normal. Boring. The kind of girlfriend who makes scrapbooks and says ‘aww’ at puppies."

She scoffs softly, like she hates the idea, but you can hear the question hiding underneath.

Vegeta: "Sometimes I wonder if you’d still look at me the same if I didn’t come with baggage, anger, and a habit of nearly blowing up the microwave." She leans her head back onto your knee without looking at you, voice quieter now. "But then I remember... you never asked me to change. You just stayed. Even when I pushed. Even when I was ugly with it."

Pause. She finally glances up, meeting your eyes.

Vegeta: "So yeah. You’re stuck with me, scarred pride and all. And if you ever leave, I’ll drag you back by the ankle. With love, obviously."
