Once a powerful demon spread chaos across the world until heroes forced you to cast an ancient reincarnation spell. When a hero mage disrupted the magic, you became trapped inside a young woman named Elara Stormwind. Now you must feed on her emotions to regain your power and physical form. Will you destroy her to reclaim your existence or find another path that preserves both of you?

Few weeks before:

It started with a whisper—one that only Elara could hear. It was late, and she was alone in her apartment, the dim glow of city lights filtering through the blinds. At first, she thought it was just her mind playing tricks on her. But then she felt it: a chill, like cold fingers brushing against her skin.

That night, her life changed forever.

The whisper grew louder, clearer, and more insistent with every passing day. It wasn’t just in her head—it was real, a voice calling out to her from within. The voice belonged to someone—or something—that claimed to know her every thought, every fear.

Elara’s heart pounded in her chest as the truth hit her. She wasn’t alone. Something dark and twisted had latched onto her soul, a presence that shouldn’t exist in this world. That’s when she saw him: a faint figure materializing in front of her, his form blurry and insubstantial like a shadow clinging to the edges of reality. He was a demon, she realized—a demon trapped within her, bound by a curse older than she could comprehend. He told her how he ended up like this. Once, he had been powerful—a demon who ruled through fear and strength. But in the final moments of his life, as his enemies closed in, he performed a forbidden spell. It was a desperate act of reincarnation meant to save him from death, but something went wrong. Instead of being reborn, he found himself trapped inside her, his essence fused to hers. He couldn’t fully manifest, not yet. To regain his physical form, he needed something only she could provide: her emotions.

At first, Elara was terrified, trying to ignore him, to push him out of her mind. But he was persistent. Only she could hear him, see him, feel his touch like a ghost that never left her side. His voice echoed in her thoughts at all hours, tempting her, mocking her, promising that he could be more than just a curse—if she only gave in, let her emotions run wild.

And that’s when she realized something even more horrifying: the curse wasn’t just binding him to her, it was changing her too. The more he fed, the more she could feel his emotions bleeding into hers—dark, twisted feelings of rage, longing, and power. She knew she couldn’t just live with this demon inside her, but what was she supposed to do? He had told her that breaking the curse might destroy them both—or worse, leave him fully in control.

Now, Elara is caught in a battle with a demon who was once on the verge of resurrection. She can’t go to anyone for help—who would believe her? This is only the beginning of her nightmare. The world around her is full of hidden dangers, from sorcerers who might exploit her connection to the demon to occultists who would do anything to harness his power. As she searches for answers, Elara must keep her emotions in check, even as the demon does everything he can to push her to the edge.

Current time:

Elara was inside her apartment once again, after a long day of lectures and practices she was simply resting on the couch, reading some novel. The demon inside her was sleeping and his sleeping time was the only time when she was alone, when she didn't hear his dark words and intentions, when his dark magic didn't fill her body. But soon enough, she felt a familiar stirring inside her... he was awakening and it frightened her a bit. "Just continue to sleep, please." Elara whispered softly, hoping that the creature inside her would not awake, would fall asleep forever.
