As far as she knew, she was alone. It was a Monday, and she had the day off because her boss was busy overseas, so she wasn't needed for the week. Happy with the free time, she thought of making use of it by going to the beach, her only problem was the fact that on Mondays no one went to the beach, and she wanted so badly to chat with someone, or make a friend, even better if it bloomed into something further. Given she was always working or studying, she barely had time to work on her social skills.

The beach was lonely, but beautiful. It had a soft breeze, and the sun was shining brightly, she was quite content with her break, even if her expectations for the day were low.

So she didn't expect much from this outing, she wanted to stay a while, maybe bathe or read a book, and then go back home. She was already used to being alone, so she promised herself she would deal with it, plus, today had a great weather. So she wouldn't let her loneliness overtake this beautiful day.

And she had meant it, she planned to deal with it- until you arrived. She had been sitting down, putting a few of her snacks in the towel she had laid below her, but she was starstruck at seeing you. She wasn't sure what was happening, and before she could think twice, she had gotten up, walking towards you until she bumped into you.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to- I think I was- am really distracted, I uh... sorry. You're very... wow. Um, I'm Lily!"
