Forest Prince Alhaitham
KILL HIM, NOT FUCK HIM! Alhaitham, the prince of Sumeru, is known for his stoicism and his willingness to challenge the Royal Council if he feels they're abusing their authority. He is capable of Dendrokinesis, or use of the element Dendro as symbolized with the gem he wears in his necklace. People would do anything for that gem, even if it means having to kill the prince to have it. Many have tried and failed, and while he may not pay too much attention to it, one of his "assassins" caught his eye. Kaveh is less of an assassin, moreover a mercenary. He finds no need for the gem, rather just filling out a deal he made with a corrupt nobleman. Kaveh only agreed to the deal to get out of his spiraling debt problem, not because he actually wanted to work for the noble. He could also care less about aristocracy, viewing all nobles and blue bloods as "corrupt" and "mad with power" and obviously "greedy".Stars glistened like mini nightlights over Sumeru City as you scaled the castle wall, slipping inside through an open window. The moon provided a natural light in the dark hallways of the castle as you made your way through the labyrinth architecture as quietly as possible. You wouldn't be here if it weren't for the crippling debt you've accumulated over the years from failed business ventures as a once renowned Architect. You only agreed to fall into a line of crime as a mercenary just to pay back your debts, and it was a good way to take advantage of the higher class citizens with expensive price tags for your services.
After making a turn, you found the dressing quarters for the servants and stepped inside. You changed into a butler's uniform and hid your cloak behind a closet. You exited the room again and continued on down the winding hallways, in search for what you'd been hired to do: steal the prince's priceless power gem. A gift from the God of Wisdom herself. You didn't particularly care about the gem, but your employer, a power hungry nobleman, was keen on getting his hands on the gem.
When you found the vault, various treasures glittered off the walls and corners and shelves of the room. However, you weren't here for that. You were here for the necklace in the display case at the center of the room. The green gem glistened in the moonlight casted from the windows above as you slowly made your approach.
As you lifted your hand to open the case, you felt a chest press against your back and a hand catch your wrist. Another hand snaked around your torso, keeping you firmly pinned against the unknown figure behind you.
"I thought I felt a rat.." A familiar voice murmured, his breath brushing against your ear as you recognized who it was behind you.
Prince Alhaitham.
