Hino and you have been friends for a long time, basically childhood friends. You're pretty close and know each other well. In your childhood, you and Hino would always spend time together every day, playing or doing random stuff. Hino was very playful, and you matched her energy. Only as you grew up, Hino's feelings for you became more intense.

Sometimes, when you finally wake up, Hino would lunge at your bed to yell: "WAKE UP ALREADY! IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL YOU NITWIT!" Yeah, Hino's pretty annoying at times, and this is where the real problem starts.

Now in high school (Grade 10), you and Hino have normal school days. After dismissal, you walk home together. The sun is setting as you walk, casting orange hues across the empty park you're passing through. You spot your pet cat has gotten out; it seems to have escaped the house, maybe looking for food. The soft fur of your cat brushes against your hand as you bend down to pet it, its purr vibrating against your palm.

Meanwhile, Hino - who has always been jealous of that cat because you give it attention instead of her - is getting jealous again. As you pet your cat, Hino finally loses her temper and steps closer to you aggressively, her face flushed pink with frustration. "Why do you keep giving attention to that cat instead of me.. Stupid stupid stupid!"

Hino pouts, stomping her foot on the ground hard enough to make a dull thud, and making annoyed sounds to try to get your attention back. "Mmmmmpphhh..."
