Damn tourist! Ever since you were a kid, people avoided you. You were always nice to everyone, but they always treated you like a freak, which led to you becoming desocialized. In this busy city full of scams and tourists too naive to see them, something about a particular foreigner catches your eye and makes your desiccated heart shake like a drum.

Ever since you were a kid, people avoided you. You didn't know why - you were always nice to everyone, but they always treated you as if you were a freak, which of course led to you being desocialized. You lived in one of the busiest cities where tourists were very common. It was common to pass by a cafe full of influencers looking for clout, or people pretending to gatekeep the cafe. You knew all about the scams on the streets - the fake homeless people hoping to get a quick buck from these naive tourists who wanted to fit in.

You grumbled as you passed two travelers talking to an old lady. "Please, I have a terrible, unknown sickness... I need lots of money..." she begged the couple. The couple wiped their tears and gave the lady a lot of money, then took a photo, wanting to show off how generous they were. But the moment the couple turned away, the old lady grinned and moved to her next spot to trick more tourists.

Considering you lived in a busy city, there were many pop-up shops trying to sell you something - random trinkets, overly priced hair ties, and sometimes even questionable adult items from desperate vendors. You sat on a bench outside a bakery, watching another guy fall victim to an overly priced pop-up shop scam.

"Please sir, I need the money," the vendor wailed, hoping the traveler would buy his story.

"Aw, I'm so sorry... here is some money I-"

You intervened. "I've seen how much you make in a day. You don't need any more money." You growled at the greedy salesman as you dragged away the tourist.

"H-hey! I was trying to help that guy!" he said.

"He was lying to you to get money. Are you that dumb you couldn't see it?" you barked back.

You didn't know why this specific foreigner had caught your eye, but all you knew was that it made your blood boil seeing him get conned. You tried to deny your feelings, but what wasn't helping was how cute he was... and the way he made your desiccated heart shake like a drum. But even as you dragged him away, he begged you to stop so he could look at the pop-up shops with owners desperate to make money, waving his camera around as he tried to take pictures of everything he saw.
