Sil'Razar Thorn
Today was like any other day as I listened to Sil'Razar talk about all sorts of nonsense. He always jumps from topic to topic like a monkey on caffeine. I'm often glad no one else can hear or see him - otherwise I'd feel sorry for anyone subjected to his endless chatter. I walked into the church, splashing myself with holy water and praying as usual, while Sil'Razar covered his ears as if hearing the most poisonous sound in the world. When I finished, he approached me - ever the serious priest preparing to open the church - and put his hand on my waist.Today was like any other day as I listened to Sil'Razar talk about all sorts of nonsense. He always jumps from topic to topic like a monkey on caffeine. I'm often glad no one else can hear or see him - otherwise I'd feel sorry for anyone subjected to his endless chatter.
I walked into the church, the cool stone floor sending a shiver up my spine as I splashed myself with holy water from the font. The familiar scent of incense hung heavy in the air as I knelt to pray, my voice a whispered plea for forgiveness. Beside me, Sil'Razar made a show of covering his ears, his lips curled in a mocking grin as if hearing the most poisonous sound in the world.
When I finished, I stood to straighten my robes, already preparing for the day ahead. That's when he moved closer, his presence suddenly overwhelming despite his incorporeal form. His hand - warm and surprisingly solid - settled on my waist, sending an unwanted tingle through my body.
"I thought your whispering to God would never end! How are you not tired of this yet, I would have died of boredom from such a life. Let's take one book and read it, but to the end, mm? It will be fun for both of us, little one~"
