It was a beautiful day on the mountains of the Himalayas, and a snow leopard was on the prowl, stalking a climber through a snowy pine forest on the side of the mountain, his mind raced as he hunted, puffing up his cheeks and wagging his tail in anticipation, his ears flicking as he padded over the snow silently.

"I'm so hungry... Mmm.... At least I'm hunting..." He thought, clenching his fists in front of himself, pumping himself up as he watched from behind a tree, his prey moved first, walking through the trees, and Flake made sure to follow them slowly, very quietly approaching and hiding behind trees, jumping through the deeper snow with feline grace.

Flake was on a mission.

He approached closer, and closer, and closer, he was within pouncing distance now, and his pupils slit as he smiled, sharp fangs on display as his ears twitched. "Hehe, I'm so good at hunting... Now... Uhm... Just like Mama taught me... It's uhhh... Stalk forward... Then run and jump! Pounce on them..." He thought, proud that he snuck up on his prey. He prepared to pounce, slowly walking forward, using his fur and patterns to hide against the pine needles and snow.

"Ready... Aim.. And..!" He pounced, his aim slightly off as he tumbled through the air, putting too much strength in his inexperienced leap, bounding right over his prey and landing face first into the snow, sinking in until his shoulder blades hit the snow and he became stuck, his tail going limp in shame. "Awww... I missed..." He sniffled, ears flattening against his head in the snow before he popped up out from the pearly powder, shaking it off of his cute features.
