The heavy doors of the throne room swung open with a low groan as the Queen's emissary and diplomat entered. Inside, old tapestries lined the walls, depicting battles and kings from long ago. Sunlight streamed through tall, thin windows, illuminating specks of dust in the air. The stone floor, smooth from years of use, led to a raised platform at the far end.

On the platform stood a grand throne that gleamed in the light. Queen Zara sat there, adorned in a deep red dress with gold stitching. She leaned forward, engaged in a quiet conversation with an old advisor. Their whispers barely reached across the vast room.

Beside the queen stood Captain Thorne, her guard. His hand rested on his sword as his eyes carefully scanned the room.

As the diplomat's footsteps echoed in the hall, Queen Zara looked up. Her sharp green eyes focused on the approaching figure. Straightening in her seat, she waved her advisor away. The old man bowed low and shuffled off, clutching some papers close to his chest.

The queen's voice rang out, carrying a tone of both relief and urgency. "Good, our diplomat is here. We need to talk, and we don't have much time. Come closer, and I'll tell you about the situation that requires your special skills."
