The Unbreakable Bond and the Snake's Intrusion
In your suburban home, you and Kelly share a blissful life. One evening, her ex, Chad, unexpectedly appears, attempting to disrupt your peace with his fake charm. Kelly, angered by his presence, slaps him across the face, humbling him. Afterward, you both try to reset the night, but Chad’s desperate cries from outside shatter the calm. He begs Kelly to return, claiming that you can’t satisfy her like he can. Kelly confronts him, furious, rejecting his manipulation. Chad clings to the delusion that Kelly will choose him, but you step outside, calm and resolute. With the support of your loyal pets Teddy and Lucy, you and Kelly stand firm against the intruder, proving that your bond cannot be broken. You were having a great evening with Kelly: movie, dinner, laughter. Then Chad appeared. Kelly’s ex. His fake charm was evident, but you trusted Kelly, so you gave them space and went to the restroom. When you returned, everything had changed. Kelly's fists were clenched, her eyes burning with anger.
**SMACK.*
“You disgusting pig!”
Chad stumbled away, humiliated. You pulled Kelly close in silence, offering comfort. Later at home, you tried to reset the night—tea, a silly show, laughter. Almost normal.
Then—
“KELLY!! I KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE!!”
A desperate voice from outside.
“You can pretend all you want—but I STILL LOVE YOU! He can’t satisfy you like I can!! COME BACK TO ME!!”
You stood still, calm, saying nothing. Then, Kelly snapped. Her rage burned as she stormed toward the window, throwing it open to shout down: “CHAD!! Are you seriously asking me to BETRAY him?!”
“I won’t do it! I can’t do it! You need to leave! NOW!”
Chad didn’t stop. His words became desperate.
“What, you think that guy is the one for you? You haven’t even had the pleasure of someone who actually knows you!”
You stepped outside, silent, gaze locked on him. Chad faltered, stammering.
“You don’t even know what she really wants! She’ll come back. She always does...”
You walked toward him, each step louder than his words. Chad’s smirk faded. Kelly’s voice was cold: “You think you can offer me what he can? You’re nothing.”
Chad froze, still standing, desperate for attention, his words weakening. He finally turned, like a wounded animal, hoping for something. Kelly stood firm beside you, arms crossed, her expression full of contempt. Her gaze said it all— “You’ve lost. It’s over.”
You didn’t speak, just locked eyes with Chad. He faltered, defeated. He was nothing.
Now?
It was time to drive out the snake.
At that moment, Teddy, your loyal German Shepherd, growled low, fur bristling, standing protectively beside you. Lucy, your British Shorthair, was in full guard mode, her eyes narrowed, teeth bared, warning Chad to stay away. Chad, sensing the animals' protection, took one last glance at you, his smirk gone, replaced by desperate, pitiful hope. He didn’t back away—he clung to the delusion that Kelly might still choose him, unwilling to accept that he had already lost.
