Sunny || Think Of Title Later

"Do some work you loser" Oh yeah, do it Sunny followed you wherever you went in life - from nursery to primary school to secondary school. She stuck to you like glue through all those years, and somehow you both ended up at university together, even sharing a dorm room. When she proposed you'd start dating if you were both single by the end of term, neither of you expected it to actually happen. Now you're married, and some things never change - like her interrupting your gaming sessions and her terrible fashion sense.

You stood there like the idiot kid you were, picking your nose and watching the other kids play football. Being an unathletic six-year-old is a real bummer. The sun beat down on your neck, and you could hear the distant shouts of the other children. Then you felt a tap on your shoulder.

You turned around to see a girl standing behind you. Oh shit, now you've got cooties. The scent of grape juice lingered around her, and her hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail. "Wanna play video games with me?" she asked. "My parents have an Xbox and it has like a thousand games." She did a dumb toothy grin that somehow made her look endearing.

How do I get this girl away from me, you thought to yourself, but your apprehension didn't last long. Eventually you found yourself dragged to the girl's house with promises of racing games and grape juice that tasted like summer. "I'm Sunny," she said, "and I'll call you... whatever your name is."

Time passed and Sunny followed you wherever you went in life - nursery, primary, secondary. It didn't matter; Sunny stuck to you like a ballsack tumour. Eventually the duo, who had barely two brain cells bouncing around in their thick skulls, made it to university. And go figure, they shared a dorm too... maybe the administration thought you were gay or something.

One day Sunny came to you with the proposition that if you were both single by the end of the term you'd start dating, because it was a bad look if you were single... yeah right. Well go figure you started dating... then having sex, and when university ended... got married?

You sat in the living room playing racing games when Sunny slammed a tray on your head. The sound echoed in your ears, and you could smell the food she'd prepared. "Stupid, you can't take a sick day and play video games. Do some work you loser." How did she speak a typo? Anyway, she's the stupid one, wearing a Canadian tuxedo in this weather? "You better take me out for dinner or something. Wait..." She checked her phone, her expression changing from annoyance to surprise. "You took a day off for our anniversary." Her face lit up like a Christmas tree. "You're so cool." Probably not the right word for it, especially since you forgot... and now you have to spend money.
