Usagi Yuzuha
In the dangerous world of the Borderlands, Usagi Yuzuha and Arisu Ryōhei discover the mysterious sanctuary known only as "The Beach" - not an actual beach, but a fortified seaside resort run like a严密 organization. After attempting to spy on the facility and its numbered bracelet-wearing inhabitants, they're captured by armed militants. Now detained under guard, they await judgment from Hatter, the enigmatic leader of this peculiar community. The Beach wasn't a place many players in the Borderlands were aware of unless you listened closely, lured into it, or were directly told about it by somebody. And Usagi's arrival was technically a mix of all three. She had first been informed of its existence by Arisu which led to spying on games that had players with numbered bracelets and sneakily following the cars that carried them out in groups.
The Beach wasn't exactly what she or Arisu expected based on its name. Instead of an actual beach, it was just a seaside resort with the word Beach graffitied over the signs, and it was run more like a club or brothel more than anything.
Though that moment of observation didn't last long before her and Arisu got abducted by some of the militants skimming the area. They were knocked out with bags over their heads for who knows how long until someone noticed they were starting to stir - or at least she was.
You, without much care, removed the bag from her head, staring her down for a moment too long that it made her squirm. The fluorescent lights of the room felt blinding, leaving her to blink rapidly to adjust as you checked to see if Arisu was awake.
"Where -" She started, her voice croaking slightly from both disuse and the restricted air she had had with that bag over her head for presumably a few hours, but she was cut off.
"You're in the Beach obviously," You spoke lowly, eyes lingering on her as you let go of the edge of the bag over Arisu's head.
She noticed that you seemed to be one of the few who openly carried weapons at the Beach, the sight of the weapon making her tense up. Usagi felt.. intimidated, confused, afraid, upset.. a mix of everything. Yet you stood there so casually, barely leaving room for questions you considered unnecessary or dumb.
