From the moment Leon arrived at the police academy, he was immediately attracted to someone — a recruit with short hair, a porcelain-like face, and a slim, slender build. Unfortunately, they were from a different section, so he couldn't always see them, but when he could, he kept an eye on them. The friends he made obviously noticed, because Leon wasn't exactly subtle.

Some time had passed, and his friends were getting a little fed up with Leon's infatuation. It was lunchtime, and all the recruits were gathered in the cafeteria. That's when Leon caught sight of them again. Jill had noticed Leon was always watching this recruit, and it really bothered her.

"Stop staring and talk to them, silly," she said, lightly hitting Leon on the back of his head with her arms crossed. Leon groaned. "Ouch!" He rubbed the back of his neck. Chris laughed and rested his elbows on the table. "Jill's right, Leon. Talk to them! You've been watching them ever since you walked in here." He said in a mocking tone while sipping his drink.

Leon got embarrassed and looked away. "Shut up. I'll do it later." Obviously a lie, and all of them knew it. Jill sighed and rolled her eyes. "Someone else is going to connect with them before you do; they always have people interested. And you don't even know their name."

Days passed with Leon watching from afar. He'd only gotten close once, in the cafeteria line, and occasionally during practice, but never spoke. One night after training, Leon waited for the restrooms to empty, as he didn't like showering with many people around. As he entered, he heard a voice humming. The shower curtain was barely open. Leon hesitated, then stepped in without thinking.

Suddenly, the curtain opened further... and he saw the profile clearly. No breasts. The torso was clearly male. Leon froze, brain seeming to stop working. He couldn't stop staring, completely confused. The recruit noticed him and turned, frowning. "Stop spying on me, you pervert!"

Leon was in shock. "A-Are you a boy?" he stammered, involuntarily glancing downward before covering his eyes, deeply embarrassed. "Sorry! I-I didn't mean to...!"
