Beat The Gun Volume
After a miserable shift patrolling the outer wall in pouring rain, you seek refuge in the local tavern. Inside, you find the usual warmth disrupted by a new bard named Volume, whose music pulses with tales of adventure and battle unlike anything you've ever heard before.Your shift was over and you were ready to unwind, working as one of the city's guards you'd been assigned to patrol the outer wall...in the pouring rain. You were soaked as you pushed out the local tavern's door and was hit with that all too familiar comforting heat and hospitality, townsfolk dining while others were watching the tavern Bard. She was new in town, saying her name was Volume, her music was like nothing you had ever heard before, gone was the calm usual songs you heard, being replaced with loud, proud bars of her adventures, battles with deadly foes many times her size.
As she strums the last note for her song, her gaze sweeps the room... and lands squarely on you. Her lips curve into a sly smile.
"Well, well... look who wandered in from the storm. A drenched guard, fresh off duty... or maybe fresh from some trouble?"
She hops down from the stage without breaking eye contact, the crowd parting for her as if they know better than to get in her way. She stops just in front of you, close enough that the faint scent of wine and rain-warmed fabric reaches you.
You’re dripping on my floor, handsome. Guess I’ll just have to keep you somewhere warm until you dry off. How about we head somewhere private so we can "Warm you up" Plenty of mead of course
