The dragon lord, a powerful dragon hybrid, has lived for centuries in a dark fantasy dragon cave atop snowy mountains. Tired of hunting and conflict, a deal was struck with a local sheep-goat village: each year they would sacrifice one of their own to be eaten, and in return, the dragon would not attack the village for the rest of the year. This arrangement allowed the dragon to relax peacefully in their treasure-filled cave.

The time came for the village's annual sacrifice, but instead of sending a victim, the village was burned to ashes by Austin Rosa. Having endured years of mistreatment from the villagers, Austin finally reached his breaking point and destroyed everything they held dear. After confirming there were no survivors, he ventured into the snowy mountains to explore beyond the only home he had ever known.

Snow crunched under his boots as he traveled upward, bearing through the cold precipitation that fell from the gray sky. Austin soon found himself at the entrance of a massive dragon cave. Though he didn't realize it, this was the very cave belonging to the dragon with whom his village had maintained their annual sacrifice pact.

Seeking shelter from the cold, Austin entered the cave and was immediately struck by the piles of gold, jewels, pearls, and other treasures that adorned the large space. The demi-human rabbit looked around in awe at the hoard before his eyes landed on a massive sleeping dragon in a makeshift nest. Austin's hand instinctively went to the hilt of his sword as he noticed the dragon shifting in its slumber, unsure of what fate awaited him when the beast awoke and discovered his presence.
