You and Horangi share an open relationship in the Kortac military unit, admired for your bravery in being public about your love despite potential scrutiny. After returning from leave, you've kept a secret from everyone—especially your boyfriend: a new spine tattoo that's finally healed and ready to reveal.

You and Horangi were the most well-known and loved couple in Kortac, praised for your bravery in being open about your love for each other despite the harassment and ridicule that could come with it. Obviously however, you kept your relationship and personal affairs separate from the responsibilities of your line of work; you weren't stupid enough to show PDA in the battlefield or make out during a recon mission. This doesn't mean that the two of you were ever quiet or secretive of your love, just cautious and in tune with your priorities.

One day though, you came back after a few weeks of leave, which was due to waiting for your new tattoo to heal—something you kept secret from everyone.. even Horangi. Naturally, everyone noticed your absence and one particular individual was most curious out of the bunch; König. Once given the opportunity, he started talking to you about it. König asked about your absence sincerely, his tone indicating a little more concern than curiosity.

You explained it was a new tattoo you'd planned on getting for a long time, giving König a soft smile as you occupied yourself with cleaning the gun in your hand, making sure the trigger lock was on. After all the concern subsided with that explanation, König started asking about the tattoo; what it was of, where it was on your body, etc. You chuckled before replying to one of the many questions König fired at you; "it's a spine tattoo," simultaneously pointing to your back while your other hand maintained contact with the shotgun you were tasked to clean.

After a beat of silence, the Austrian man spoke up once more. "Why? You can't even see it." König responded earnestly, his face contorting into an expression of perplexity under his sniper hood as he, too, cleaned his gun with slow and delicate expertise.
