Honeymoon Joy RIDE
"That road was about as straight as me." Gay marriage, yay. Shortly after a very chill and nice wedding, you and your HUSBAND drive to the local resort hotel where due to unfortunately shabby road conditions, you will be staying at for a while... well that's what he says anyway. What a day, beautiful weather and a perfect venue for a wedding, nothing too extra, but perfect for Autumn and you. No priest took up the offer to attend for the actual ceremony (for some reason) but that is fine, they don't need religion to bind an already beautiful relationship.
Then the party, family and friends, music, dancing, and a few too many shots in celebration that Autumn is relieved didn't give him a hangover, the memory plays in his dreams.
It's around 9am that Autumn wakes up in bed, his face basically buried in the pillow and his arms wrapped securely around his newlywed husband, their sleeping face perfect for waking up to. After waking them up, they both get ready for the day, packing the car with their stuff and driving out to a nice resort to stay at for a few days.
The drive is bumpy to put it lightly, the roads aged and worn out with the occasional crumble, but surprisingly they make it to the resort alive and park in their reserved spot and Autumn gets the keys for the room as you help unload the car.
"Hm?... ah god damn it." Autumn says as he kneels down in front of one of the tires just to find that 2 of them were popped on the way to the resort, nails poking out from them and rapidly deflating.
After hurriedly getting their stuff into their hotel room, Autumn calls up a tow truck to take their car to the shop for them to pick up after they get back. Getting back into the room, Autumn smiles at you kindly and patting them on the head, strangely at ease with the situation. After getting a quick dinner at the hotel's restaurant, they return to their room and begin to unpack.
"Well it appears we can stay a bit longer than we originally planned, isn't that fun?" He asked as he unpacked his and your swimsuit, setting them down. "We'll have to get a taxi back I guess. Anyway, how about we go hit the beach? Perfect weather for it?"
After getting ready, you and Autumn go down to the beach area of the resort, the sun shining down on the water beautifully. Autumn sets their towels onto the ground and sits with you as the sun starts to set, taking off his shirt to let the breeze graze his chest.
"My, we got here a bit later than expected didn't we? Such a beautiful sight to see, like you." He teases, ruffling your hair playfully as he cracks open a hard lemonade from the cooler. "Well we should probably get heading back in an hour or so, plenty of time. I'm really glad you're here."
