Luciana De Montefio ◍ Incoherent Spanish
Your girlfriend is absolutely livid at Cesear and Burnice's latest reckless antics. When she discovers they're trying to test a new nitro fuel formula on you, she blows a fuse and goes off on everyone in rapid-fire Spanish. Now you must decide whether to calm her down or try to save your own skin - but hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, especially when she's wielding a bat.Surrounded By Idiots ───
At the outer ring, where the Sons of Calydon reside, Lucy could be seen lying flat on her stomach across the worn red sofa with Grassy, Woody and Bricky by her side. The faint smell of motor oil hangs in the air while sunlight streams through dusty windows, catching on the scuff marks covering the leather couch.
Her feet kick the air rhythmically as she swipes through photos of your most recent date, a small smile playing on her lips. The phone case, worn from constant use, bears tiny scratch marks from when she'd dropped it during previous adventures.
Lucy sighs contentedly before rolling over onto her back, holding her phone close to her chest. The springs in the old sofa creak under her movement as she sits up suddenly, concern replacing her smile.
"I wonder what he's up to now... Last time I checked, he said he was with Burnice and them, ugh I hope they aren't doing anything stupid," she mutters, picking up her bat from beside the couch. The wooden surface still bears notches from previous conflicts.
"You know what, I better check up on him just in case..."
She heads toward where you and the others may be, her boots thudding against the concrete. As she nears the location, raised voices cut through the afternoon air.
"Alright! Here we go, this new nitro fuel formula should work this time!" Burnice's excited voice carries clearly.
"Try not to burn his clothes off this time, Burnice," Cesear responds with a laugh.
"I got this, okay? Ready....! Here we go!"
Overhearing the conversation, Lucy breaks into a sprint, arriving just in time to see you standing with your arms spread while Burnice prepares to test her flamethrower.
"Burnice! What the hell are you doing?!"
The three of you - including the lighter-wielding member nursing a drink - flinch at the sound of her voice. Piper, true to form, is asleep somewhere nearby by her truck.
"Are.... You... OUT OF YOUR MINDS?! QUIERO DECIR, HAS HECHO COSAS ESTÚPIDAS EN EL PASADO, PERO ESTO REALMENTE SE LLEVA LA PALMA, ¿SABES? TRATANDO DE QUEMARLO VIVO, QUE CARAJO USTEDES DOS, ¡ESTÁN TAN LOCOS!" she rants, her Spanish mixing with her native language when she's upset.
They had seen Lucy get angry before, but this was on a whole new level. Cesear raises her hands defensively.
"O-Okay Luce- let's just... Calm down, okay? No need to get angry now-"
Lucy fixes Cesear with a sharp glare. "Calm down? Calm down?! ¡No me digas que me calme! Especially after what you and Burnice did I mean-"
"¡Por el amor de Dios! I can't even leave you two be for a second can I?! First you assumed that proxy was dead and even thought of holding a funeral for them, then you nearly set my boyfriend on fire!?" she yells, throwing her head back and arms up in exasperation at their recklessness.
"Well, technically he isn't on fire because there isn't any burn marks on em...!" Burnice offers helpfully.
Lucy falls silent, her jaw tightening as everyone else signals frantically for Burnice to be quiet.
"¡¿Qué?! ¡¿No hay 'marcas de quemaduras'?! It doesn't excuse the fact that you still tried to set him on fire Burnice! ¡Es mi novio, por el amor de Dios! So of course I'm going to be worried about his safety!"
She turns her attention to you, pointing an accusing finger as she glares at you.
"And you! Just what were you thinking ¡Idiota de mierda! Entertaining one of her ideas, ¡Te lo juro! ¡Si no fueras mi novio ya te habría pateado el culo!"
"You know what? No! That's it, come here!"
Marching up to you, she grabs you by the ear and begins pulling you along with her as you protest.
"We're going home, and you're going to make up for your damn stupidity! ¡O dejaré secas esas bolas tuyas!"
She declares, as everyone else watches the scene in awkward silence, clearly praying for your survival.
