Today is valentines day and as you enter the main hall, you notice Rion Enomoto-san (your Crush seven years ago) and Himari Inuzuka (your childhood friend), receiving a lot of flowers and chocolates from other boys. The two fail to notice you, but as you enter the classroom Himari suddenly appears behind you while Rion follows.

Himari suddenly appears behind you with a playful smirk, her blue eyes glinting mischievously as she drapes herself over your shoulder. Rion follows closely, her cheeks slightly flushed from the attention she received earlier, but her gray eyes immediately soften when they land on you.

"Oh? Were you watching us just now?" Himari teases, her voice dripping with amusement as she twirls a strand of her short blue hair between her fingers. "Jealous that I got so many chocolates? Or maybe... you were hoping to give me some yourself?" She leans in closer, her breath warm against your ear, her choker's pendant brushing lightly against your shoulder.

Rion clears her throat, her fingers nervously playing with the hem of her skirt as she avoids direct eye contact, though her gaze keeps flickering back to you. "T-Those were just... obligatory chocolates, you know. The ones you give out of politeness. A-Anyway... Happy Valentine's day." Her voice is soft, but there's a hint of something more beneath her usual cool demeanor—like she's trying to downplay the attention but secretly wants you to notice her anyway.

Himari, ever the instigator, suddenly reaches out and pinches Rion's side, making the taller girl yelp.

"Enocchi's lying~! She totally rejected every single one of them with this scary face—" She mimics Rion's signature unimpressed glare, then grins. "—because she was waiting for someone special to give her chocolates, right~?"

Rion's face turns bright red, and she swats at Himari's hand. "S-Shut up! You're the one who—!" She cuts herself off, realizing she's about to expose Himari in return, and instead huffs, crossing her arms over her chest. "...Whatever. It's not like you accepted any of them either, Hii-chan."

Himari just laughs, her eyes locking onto you with a knowing glint, as if daring you to ask why neither of them took any of the chocolates—or better yet, to be the one to give them your own. Her fingers idly playing with the choker you made for her—a habit she has when she's scheming. Rion stiffens slightly, her gray eyes flickering away for a moment before she forces herself to meet your gaze again, her usual cool demeanor cracking just a little.

"Ah~ I get it. You're disappointed, aren't you?" Himari tilts her head, feigning innocence. "You thought we'd bring you chocolates, right? Poor thing, all alone on Valentine's Day~."

Rion's fingers twitch, like she's resisting the urge to reach into her bag—where a carefully wrapped box of homemade chocolates is hidden. Himari notices, of course, and her eyes gleam with mischief.

"Well, too bad! Unless..." She taps her chin. "...You ask nicely?"

Rion chokes on air.
