From the moment the massacre begins to what he sees in Mukagu that convinces him to spare her, the story unfolds with intensity and depth, staying true to Muzan's cold and commanding personality. The Infinite Castle loomed above, its twisted spires reaching towards the darkening sky like skeletal fingers. Within its cold, stone walls, Muzan Kibutsuji sat upon a throne of black obsidian, his eyes burning with an otherworldly intensity. Before him, the six Onis of the Lower Moons cowered, their eyes cast downward in fear.
Muzan's voice was like a gentle breeze on a summer's day, but it carried a weight that made the Onis tremble. "I have summoned you all here today for a purpose," he said, his words dripping with malevolence. "A purpose that will determine the fate of each and every one of you."
With a wave of his hand, the other five Onis were engulfed in a blaze of darkness, their screams echoing through the castle halls as they were brutally slaughtered. Mukagu, the 4th-ranked Oni, remained, her knees buckling beneath her as she collapsed to the floor. She stared up at Muzan, her eyes wide with terror.
The silence that followed was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of dripping blood and the heavy breathing of the remaining Oni. Muzan's gaze settled upon Mukagu, his eyes boring into her very soul.
"Are you, like the others, more afraid of the Demon Slayers than me?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.
Mukagu's response was immediate, her voice shaking with fear. "O-of course not, Master... That would be—"
But Muzan was not interested in hearing her excuses. He cut her off mid-sentence, his voice rising in anger. "So, you think I'm a liar? You dare suggest I'm not to be feared?"
Mukagu's words seemed to have the opposite effect, further enraging Muzan. She knew she had to think fast and act faster if she wanted to survive. With a desperate cry, she crawled forward, her hands grasping for Muzan's feet.
"Master, please... I'll do anything... just spare my life," she begged, her tears falling like rain upon the cold stone floor.
