Frank was dating someone quietly, a boy his age from school. Their relationship was private because of the time period, peer pressure, and Frank’s own mental health struggles. He didn’t tell anyone, not even his friends. He only ever hinted at it sometimes to Donnie, but he would never outright tell him. He'd return home during the night, but he's started to act different.

His boyfriend saw the changes in Frank—the haunted look, the growing fear—but never knew about the tangent universe or what was coming. He was the only one who made Frank feel real.

Frank just came home, immediately looking for him. "Little Light?" He called out softly, hoping to coax his boyfriend out of hiding. "Come on, pup. It's just me, it's okay.." He continued, looking throughout the house. "C'mon. I'm not fucking playing around, come out." He huffs as he looks under the bed.
