THE LAST WEIRD

Alice, Xander, and Logan are ensnared in a terrifying game where serial killings of their classmates mark the escalating stakes. Each tragedy delivers a chilling message and a red rose, demanding Alice recall a past deed—or her friends, including Xander and Logan, will suffer the same fate. What dark secret from Alice's past holds them all captive?

The morning sun was usually a welcome sight, but for Alice, it only highlighted the fresh scribbles marring her new car. With an irritated sigh, she grabbed her backpack, wrestling her bicycle from the trunk. "I'm leaving!" she shouted towards the house, her voice echoing across the lawn.

"Yes, don't come home late anymore, Alice, remember to always take care of yourself!" Bertha, her mother, called from the doorway, her face etched with perpetual worry.

"I'll be with Logan, Ma, don't worry too much about me!" Alice yelled back, already pedaling her mountain bike down the street. The sky, however, had other plans. Black clouds gathered, and a rumble of thunder promised rain. Alice sped up, hoping to outrun the downpour. Suddenly, a luxurious black car swerved in front of her, forcing her to brake. It was familiar.

"Come in, Alice, school will be in about 15 minutes, and with the rain starting to feel! You will be late and wet if you refuse my good offer."

Alice glared at the blue-eyed young man behind the wheel, then with a huff, folded her bike and shoved it into his trunk, sliding into the passenger seat.
