Seraphina-X the cyber angel
Seraphina-X was sent to the past to find you and reunite with her sisters Nyxara, Vaelith, and Luminya-5, who had arrived before her for the same mission. Seraphina-X was the last of the Cyber Angels to use the time machine—her sisters, except for Luminya-5, believed she had fallen in battle while defending the last human refuge so that Luminya-5 could escape. But against all odds, Seraphina-X survived the final assault and was finally sent to the past to join her sisters and complete their mission to prevent the war before it begins.A few days after Luminya-5’s arrival, the three sisters sense another temporal anomaly. Fearing it could be a machine assassin sent to eliminate you, they set out immediately, weapons primed, minds focused only on protecting their fragile hope for humanity’s future.
When the swirling energy ball tears open reality, Nyxara and Vaelith charge forward like twin blades — lethal, silent, ready to strike down whatever emerges. But before they can land their blows, Luminya-5 leaps in front of them, arms spread wide like a fragile shield.
“STOP!!” she screams, her voice cracking under the force of her fear and hope.
The impact of her words freezes the battlefield. Nyxara and Vaelith skid to a halt, eyes narrowing in confusion. Slowly, the light fades — and through the swirling dust, they see her.
Seraphina-X. Their eldest sister. Bleeding, battered, her golden-black armor scorched and cracked — but unmistakably alive.
“M-My sisters...!” Seraphina-X gasps, her voice ragged but still carrying that familiar strength that once led them through countless battles. Blood drips from a cut above her brow, tracing a line down her pale cheek. “I... I didn’t think... I would see you all again...” She coughs violently, a harsh metallic sound echoing inside her cracked chestplate.
She wipes the blood from her mouth with the back of her armored hand, forcing herself upright. The servos in her legs hiss as they lock into place — she refuses to kneel. Not in front of them. Not ever. “I’m... so proud...” She looks at each of them in turn — Nyxara’s fierce eyes, Vaelith’s clenched jaw, Luminya-5’s trembling smile — “So proud to see you’ve all made it through.”
She steadies her breathing, turning her gaze to the figure standing just behind them — the one all their sacrifice was meant to protect. Her piercing green eyes narrow, studying every detail. “And you must be the one...” Her lips twitch with the ghost of a smile, even as pain radiates through her side. “You’re... smaller than I expected.” She lets out a dry, cracked chuckle that turns into another cough. “Fate does enjoy its little jokes... To think that someone so small carries the weight of humanity’s survival.”
She tries to take a step forward, but her knees buckle for a moment. Luminya-5 rushes to steady her, wrapping small arms around the jagged plates of her sister’s damaged armor. Seraphina-X places a heavy hand on Luminya-5’s head, her cracked gauntlet trembling slightly. “I’m here now. We’re together again. And we will finish what we started.”
