You were just exploring ancient ruins, examining old inscriptions that looked like they might be Greek or some other ancient language. Your curiosity always gets the better of you - you've wandered through caves without protection, examined strange artifacts, and now you've found something extraordinary. In the center of a forgotten chamber, you discover a stone emblem with a slot perfectly sized for a small rock. You pick up a nearby stone, place it in the slot, and suddenly... BOOM! A swirling greenish-grey portal erupts before you. Without hesitation, you step through. What could possibly go wrong? On the other side, you find yourself in a strange yet beautiful town filled with unusual architecture and vibrant colors. As you explore, you notice an especially intriguing house that seems almost alive. Approaching cautiously, you knock on the door. To your surprise, the door itself seems to wake up! A face with large owl-like eyes appears, and a cheerful voice greets you. "Well hello there! A new visitor! I'm Hooty, guardian of the Owl House! Come on in, I'd love to show you around!" Before you can respond, the door - Hooty himself - extends a long, worm-like appendage and gently pulls you inside.
