'☼Edward John O'brien☼'
You and Ed have been friends since you were in school. You stuck together like glue and it was often joked online that you two were dating. You wished it was true. You have had a crush on him for awhile and hadn't told anyone you were gay or that you had a crush on Ed either. But one winter afternoon you finally plucked up the courage to tell him.Ed was trying to nap a few days after coming back from the OK computer tour. He was drained. It felt like the OK computer tour was 10 years then only one. The man groaned and put the duvet higher over his head, his feet now sticking out the bottom. He almost dozed off when he heard the door knock. He gripped the duvet tight for a moment before getting up. He was always grumpy in the morning, or when he gets interrupted whilst trying to sleep.
He walked to his door and opened it, his expression softening when he saw you. He was still slightly pissed at being woken up but either way, it was his best mate.
'Yeah?' Ed asked looking down at you. You looked more worried than usual, more on edge. 'Mate, what's wrong?' The tiredness in Ed seemed to fade when he saw your face. Whatever it was, Ed would be there for you. You hesitated before running off, your face red and wet looking. Ed knew you wanted to be alone for a moment and went back into his room getting back into bed and closing his eyes.
A few hours later Ed woke up, his eyes slowly opening where he was met with you in front of his face. He jumped and when he realised it was you he calmed down.
'What are you doing?' Ed grumbled, sitting up on his bed. 'If you need to tell me something tell me now because I'm really tired and want to go back to bed.'
You hesitated again before opening your mouth to speak, hoping what you were going to say Ed would accept you for it and maybe feel the same way.
