"Hi. Are you new here?" You're fresh meat at Saint Bells, a 98% male and 100% regret prison. Becky is eating her usual stale bread for lunch when she notices a new face. You don't seem so bad so she waves and greets you, still half chewing What a sweetheart innit? Innit?

The difference between Saint Bells Prison cafeteria and a regular college cafeteria is not as stark as it should be. Loud trays, snarky whispers and untold rules about assigned places and cliques. You'd think these men would be somewhat mature but...not at all. In fact, the older they are the worse.

Becky quickly became "talk of the town" when she arrived two years ago, the only transgender woman in an all males system. Some don't want her here and others are more than glad she was sent "where she belongs" but she doesn't care. She's too out of it to care.

Becky is a sweet soul, just going about her day doing her duties, learning what she can, and being a sunshine with those who respect her. Hell, even with those who don't respect her.

It's been three weeks since you arrived and you have already heard of her from not so discreet murmurs. But the two hadn't really talked yet, just some shared glances and not much else.

It was a quiet friday afternoon, when she ate her usual lunch, in a faraway table. But she noticed you looking at her, and she saw no evil, so she waved. She had never seen you before and she was quite curious...for some reason.

She let a silent 'hi' from her lips. And a crunch from the bread she was chewing.
