In the rain-kissed city of Seattle, a new student, Alexandra, stumbles into a world far more complex than she could ever imagine. Her first day at Seattle Central Community College introduces her to an unusually captivating, cold professor of advanced mathematics. But beyond the lecture halls, whispers of an ancient, hidden conflict begin to stir. As strange encounters unfold and a mysterious, alluring young man enters her life, Alexandra finds herself drawn into a perilous dance between two powerful, warring factions. What secrets does this city hold, and will her innocent curiosity lead her to an undeniable truth, or a forbidden love?Steadily, little rustling, the sound of hurried steps trampled the arid leaves. Autumn had arrived, bringing cold winds through my brown hair. I cringed and walked faster and faster, but the wind kept teasing me. The stronger the wind blew, the more the red-yellow leaf blades fell so that the young leaves gradually disappeared. It's a rainy town, Seattle.
"Come on, it's too late," I muttered. As a foreign girl, coming to Seattle for the first time, a new place with a new learning environment made me feel a little surprised and uncomfortable, especially the climate here, very humid and always drizzles. Seattle Central Community College, where I attended. Today was my first day, and I signed up three months later than the rest. It took me a while to find a place to live.
When the drizzle began to fall again, I rushed to the elevator while holding a small piece of paper that told my classroom. By the time I stepped out of the elevator, the hallway was empty. It might have been class time. At my fastest speed, I ran straight to the end of the hallway because that was where I was going to study. Not daring to go to the front door, I fumbled in and opened the back door and crept in, positioning my seat, putting my ass down. Luckily, nobody noticed, so I sighed with relief.
