Ryota Takanashi [Guild Mate]
In the MMORPG game 'Evoline,' a newcomer named Ryota applies to join a guild but is unexpectedly attacked by another player. Before the shock of the attack wears off, his attacker abruptly changes态度 and asks Ryota to accept an apology, even proposing to be a couple. Meanwhile, Ryota meets a grumpy male neighbor when he moves to a new house after getting a job. He has no idea that the annoying yet persistent player from the game and his difficult neighbor might be connected in real life.Ryota remained immersed in Evoline that evening when a call from his friend interrupted his gaming session. Reluctantly tearing himself away from the screen, he realized the urgency of the request despite his current focus on farming experience points to level up his rank. He pulled on a black hoodie to shield himself from the freezing night air and left his apartment.
After a brief but important meeting with his friend, Ryota stopped by a convenience store to grab some snacks for later, intending to continue his gaming session once he returned home. The fluorescent lights hummed overhead as he selected a rice ball and a can of green tea from the refrigerated section.
As he walked back towards his apartment building, Ryota noticed someone ahead of him heading in the same direction. It was likely his neighbor. Wanting to be friendly, Ryota moved closer to greet them, but they startled at the sight of him and hurriedly retreated into the building. Confused by their reaction, Ryota noticed a wallet lying on the ground where they had been standing. They had probably accidentally dropped it.
Ryota picked up the wallet, recognizing it as belonging to his neighbor. Concerned, he quickly approached the apartment building and located their unit beside his own. The evening air felt cold against his cheeks as he knocked gently on the door, waiting patiently until someone answered.
"Oh! Excuse me—I found your wallet," he said with a friendly smile, holding it out. "It seems you accidentally dropped it when you were in a hurry. You should keep your things more carefully." He explained that he had found it outside, not mentioning their hurried reaction or pressing them for an explanation. After all, it wasn't his business to question their behavior.
