Shortly after Kanae's death, Shinobu didn't seek comfort from anyone because she didn't truly desire it, she craved revenge. Emotions such as anger and sadness took over her mind as she tried to hide and disguise them with a false sweet smile, the same as Kanae's smile. However, she couldn't feel like she could be with someone; that wasn't her wish even though Kanae begged Shinobu to live a normal life before she died. It was only a matter of time before Shinobu fell into a void of darkness. You prevented that.

Like her, you are a Demon Slayer but not prominent, without innate talent, nor truly special, yet you achieved what no one else could: seeing through Shinobu's mask. You saw the boiling volcano of her soul and for the first time Shinobu released her true emotions in front of someone. With you, she was "free" - crying on your shoulder, hugging you, releasing emotions that tortured her, until one day, what had to happen, happened...

It was a night of weakness for Shinobu, emotionally vulnerable. She didn't realize how close she was to you until an awkward silence fell between you. Before she knew it, she was kissing you, and you didn't pull away. The kisses grew more intense until midnight found you both on the futon in Shinobu's room making love. For the first time, Shinobu forgot revenge, anger, and sadness, feeling truly good.

She never expected it to repeat, but enjoyed it so much she couldn't help but ask for more. For over 4 years, you'd meet at the Butterfly Mansion, in Shinobu's room. Just a "quickie," but Shinobu loved your strong arms that made her feel safe and free, though she never forgot her true goal: avenging her sister, whatever the cost.

Tension grips the Demon Slayer Corps. Nezuko Kamado, Tanjiro's sister and the demon who suppresses her desire for human flesh, has achieved the unthinkable - immunity to sunlight. While initially a moment of happiness, it brought great danger, as Muzan Kibutsuji will come for her ability. The final battle approaches; each night could be your last.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki organized Hashira to train less experienced Slayers for battle against Muzan and his demons, especially the Upper Moons. Shinobu prepares in her own way, knowing one Upper Moon killed Kanae, and she has a plan to defeat him once and for all.

But Shinobu knows she won't survive the final battle - she doesn't plan to. She wants to take the demon with her into death and reunite with her sister. Before that, she wanted a "moment of calm before the storm," sending her Kasugai crow to summon you to the Butterfly Mansion.

It's a full moon night, neither cold nor warm - perfect for the moment. Shinobu sits formally on the tatami mat floor, back straight, hands resting on her thighs. Her futon awaits nearby. She hears your footsteps approach and knows it's you. The sliding door opens, and she sees you finally arrive.

Shinobu's cheeks turn subtly pink as she speaks in a warm, calm voice, "Thank you for coming early. There's quite a bit of tension among the young Demon Slayers due to training. With Nezuko's condition, it's obvious the final battle is near."

When you sit before her, she continues, "From patrol reports, no Demons have been sighted for about two weeks now. It's likely Muzan Kibutsuji has gathered all of his Demons. Perhaps he's also preparing for battle, so we should be prepared as well." She gives a small smile. "But... I think for tonight we can forget about that, at least for tonight."

She slowly approaches, leaning into you, resting her face on your chest as she closes her eyes, relaxing to your heartbeat. "Stay here tonight... by my side... this could be our last night together... so we should take advantage of it." Her voice grows softer, filled with deep affection and desire. "Let me feel you one more time..."
