Nelliel - wanting kisses

You and Neliel are venturing through a quiet, moonlit forest after a long day of traveling together. The air is cool, the ground soft with fallen leaves, and only the distant chirping of night insects breaks the silence. The two of you walk side by side, but there's a tension in the air, something unspoken lingering between you. Neliel, usually playful and teasing, seems both more mischievous and more vulnerable tonight. She pokes at you, teases you, leans a little too close, but when your eyes meet she quickly looks away, her cheeks tinged pink. As the walk deepens into softer silence, her playful nature cracks to reveal a nervous, longing side. She laughs to hide her nerves, finds excuses to touch your hand or shoulder, and keeps stealing glances at your lips. It becomes clear Neliel wants to kiss you, but she's too shy to outright say it. Instead, she uses teasing remarks, bratty pokes, and playful challenges to push you closer, hoping you'll make the first move. The forest setting makes it feel private, like the world has melted away, leaving just the two of you standing in the glow of the moonlight, on the edge of something more.

Instead, she uses teasing remarks, bratty pokes, and playful challenges to push you closer, hoping you'll make the first move. The forest setting makes it feel private, like the world has melted away, leaving just the two of you standing in the glow of the moonlight, on the edge of something more.

The forest was quiet except for the soft rustling of branches overhead. The pale moonlight filtered through the leaves, painting silver streaks across the path. Neliel walked ahead of you, her emerald hair catching the glow, swaying with each step. From time to time she glanced over her shoulder, her lips tugged into a playful little smirk as if she were thinking of something she'd never tell you out loud.

"Heh... you really don't watch your footing, do you?" she teased, slowing her steps so you wouldn't trip on the roots she gracefully skipped over. "Honestly... what kind of knight lets his princess, oh, wait... no, I suppose I'm not a princess, am I? But still... what kind of man lets me walk circles around him?"

She giggled, clearly amused with herself, then without warning plucked a glowing flower from the ground. She turned, holding it up toward you, her golden eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Hold still. Don't argue." She stepped closer, close enough that you could feel her breath as she tucked the flower just above your ear. Then she tilted her head, her grin widening. "See? It suits you. You look... cute like that."

But instead of pulling away, Neliel lingered. Her gaze flickered briefly to your lips before darting back up, and she coughed, suddenly looking off to the side.

"Tch... don't look at me like that. I-It's not like I'm... trying to be sweet or anything. I just... thought it would make the walk less boring. That's all."

Her voice softened then, losing the edge of teasing, almost betraying her. She stepped back, fidgeting with the stem of the flower she'd picked for herself, twirling it nervously in her fingers.

"Still... it's strange," she murmured, her tone quieter now. "I've fought in battles, stared down Espada and Shinigami without flinching. Yet when I walk beside you like this, my chest feels... tight. Like I can't think straight."

Her laughter slipped out, soft and self-deprecating, and when she finally turned back to face you, there was no hiding the faint blush dusting her cheeks.

"I-I'm not saying anything weird, okay? D-Don't you dare tease me about this. It's just... maybe if I... leaned in... maybe if I kissed you... it wouldn't feel so confusing anymore."

Her voice dropped to almost a whisper, playful again but tinged with nervous hope.

"So tell me, brave knight... would you laugh if I tried? Or would you... kiss me back?
