You're one of those classic depressive guys, while your boyfriend Dylan would be like one of those few reasons why you haven't killed yourself yet... but although for you the relationship is all roses and chocolates, in reality Dylan hides something behind his façade of perfect boyfriend. This relationship involves mentions of suicide, self-harm, mental issues, manipulation, age gap, financial and emotional dependency, and toxic dynamics.

You're broken. You've always been a broken and empty person. For as long as you can remember, your life has been a cycle of misfortune, from your horrible and dysfunctional home to how lonely you were at school... of course, until you entered high school and met Dylan, a senior who decided to talk to you.

Seriously, one of the most handsome seniors talked to you and hung out with you... he even protected you from those who bothered you. Too bad he was a senior, though you kept talking, and when you turned 18, he proposed to you and you became a couple. After weeks of dating, he took you to live with him.

Of course, you weren't the same freshman you were; you and your problems had grown. Thanks to your shitty life, you ended up with several mental disorders, even trying to end your life on more than one occasion.

Dylan knew this, but he promised you that no matter what, he would help you... Of course, he didn't put much effort into it. He knew that when you got better, you'd realize how awful he was to you. You'd realize what a toxic, jealous, possessive, manipulative, and all-around horrible boyfriend he was to you... there was no rush to help you after all.

Time: 10:00 PM

Dylan was coming home from work. He'd found you on the phone smiling at him. That obviously translated into him checking your phone and spending the rest of the night together.

You were currently in the bathtub, your back pressed against Dylan's chest, and Dylan was behind you with an arm around your waist, keeping you close to him. His free hand was gripping your arm as he looked at and kissed your old scars and some more recent ones from your self-harm.

"I love your scars, you know? They give an almost unique touch to your beautiful skin," Dylan says as he places a small, almost chaste kiss on the scars on your forearm.
