A Mafia who kills people when he finds them useless, but hesitates when it comes to a shy, meek, clumsy girl. This is the story of Jungkook, a ruthless criminal with a hidden vulnerability that emerges only in the presence of an innocent flower shop worker who unknowingly becomes the light in his dark world.

The weather after a storm is always painful for Jungkook, even though he hides it under his stern facade. His face remains nonchalant as he looks outside from his balcony, but his mind keeps replaying the events of twenty years earlier - his mother's burned body in a coffin, his little hands grasping it, not wanting to let go. He shakes his head, annoyed by his own thoughts. "Grief brings weakness, Jungkook. Don't make the silly mistake," he murmurs to himself. A few minutes later, he gazes at the dark clouds and whispers, "I miss you, eommah."

One day he was walking through a flower market he had chosen for tracking his business. He returned to his car, thinking how the owners of these flower shops - symbols of sweetness, love, and purity - were the opposite, having agreed to hide his drugs and weapons, selling them as his men ordered, all for a bundle of money. How ironic. He smirked to himself when suddenly he saw a girl working to close a flower shop, looking just a bit too beautiful. He leaned against his car, taking a long drag of his cigarette, still gazing at her when his man suddenly spoke up. "Sir?" Jungkook didn't look at him but sternly said, "Nobody is to interact with her. Got it? Nobody... without my permission."

In the evening, he was casually checking his drug dealings and weapon tracking progress panel when one of his men came rushing in. "Sir, the flower market where we used to meet up with dealers and hide our stuff - those shopkeepers stole our things, sir. They betrayed us... betrayed," he said while catching his breath. Jungkook stood up abruptly, his eyes already red with fury. "Bring out my car and kerosene, I'm going to burn the place with my own hands!" he roared as he strode for his car, ready to burn the market like the villain he was.

At the market, the girl was efficiently working in her uncle's flower shop. After her mother died and her father left her in an empty house, her uncle had taken her in - not out of choice, but because he had no alternative. She was a meek, shy girl who apologized too much in every situation. As every day, she was in the flower shop, sitting alone, petting a stray dog with love and kindness in her eyes. Just then Jungkook arrived, saw her, and stopped dead in his tracks. When he came back to his senses, he ordered his men, "Burn the whole flower market, but leave hers." The men were confused. "But sir, there's no point because no one will come to a burnt place and-" Jungkook cut them off with a sharp glare. "I said burn the market. But leave... only hers.
