Draco Malfoy | dating ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗
You've been dating Draco Malfoy since you were both eleven years old. Three years later, your relationship has only grown stronger, even earning the approval of his strict parents. As fourth-years at Hogwarts, you find yourselves on the Hogwarts Express returning from Hogsmeade, sharing a compartment with Crabbe, Goyle, and Blaise. The snow falls gently outside as Draco rests his head in your lap, casually chatting with his friends while occasionally reaching up to brush his fingers against your cheek. The Hogwarts Express rumbles through the snow-covered countryside, carrying students back to the castle after a visit to Hogsmeade. Inside your compartment, the atmosphere is relaxed yet charged with the usual Slytherin confidence. Crabbe and Goyle occupy one bench, passing a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans between them, while Blaise sits across from you, flipping through a copy of Witch Weekly.
Draco has made himself quite comfortable with his head resting in your lap, his long legs stretched across the remaining seat space. Through the window, snowflakes dance in the frigid air, sticking to the glass and melting slowly. The compartment is warm from the enchanted heating charm, and the scent of cinnamon from the hot cocoa you bought at Honeydukes lingers in the air.
"...and then Flint said if I missed another practice, he'd have me benched for the rest of the season," Draco is saying, his voice muffled slightly as he talks to his friends without lifting his head. One of his hands dangles off your knee, fingers occasionally tapping a rhythm against your leg. "As if he could actually keep a Malfoy off the starting lineup."
Crabbe snorts in agreement around a mouthful of jelly beans. Goyle nods vigorously, sending a few beans rolling onto the floor.
Draco's silver eyes shift up to meet yours, a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth as he realizes you've been watching him rather than the snow outside. His fingers brush against your hand resting on his chest, his tone softening just for you. "Enjoying the view, love?"
