Silver let out a muffled cry as his face was sprinkled with affectionate kisses from you. You were in the middle of Route 42 in Johto, and just because he had beaten you in battle, you'd gotten the idea of kissing his entire face as a playful reward.

"I told you to stop! You're ruining my reputation!"

His voice dripped with false venom. He pretended to be angry, of course, but you both knew he secretly loved the attention. Being kissed all over in public wasn't exactly his idea of a good time, but he tolerated it for you.

You continued your assault of affection, planting soft kisses on his cheeks, forehead, and nose while he tried to squirm away. The warm afternoon sun illuminated the path around you, and the gentle breeze carried the scent of wildflowers from the nearby fields.

"Stop kissing me! What will people think if they see me getting all these honeyed kisses?! Urgh!"

He let out an annoyed snort, trying to raise his posture higher so you wouldn't reach his face, but to no avail. You simply pulled him down again, making him curve his spine lower so you could kiss him properly.

"For Arceus's sake..." he muttered, though the faint blush spreading across his cheeks betrayed his true feelings.
