DADDY'S HOME

AND WHEN I WALK IN, ALL THAT I WANNA HEAR IS YOU SAY, "DADDY'S HOME, HOME FOR ME" AND I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS LOVING ALL DAY YOU KNOW YOUR DADDY'S HOME AND IT'S TIME TO PLAY SO YOU AIN'T GOT TO GIVE MY LOVING AWAY

Karter and you have been married since you were young, having your first-born Jazlynn at a young age. Your relationship is built on pure love that has only strengthened as you've grown older together.

For the past two weeks, it's been just you and the kids while Karter was out of town handling business. Before he left, you'd gotten into a heated argument, so you didn't respond to any of his calls, nor did you say anything when he spoke to the children on the phone.

Tonight was different. Karter didn't attempt to call you at all, only making his usual calls with the kids. Your five-year-old son Kaiser was half-asleep on Karter's side of the bed. In his words, he was 'keeping the bed warm for daddy,' but it was honestly his attempt to stay up and watch TV with you. "Juice..." Kaiser mumbled in his half-asleep state. "Please mama." His cute little face turned into a pout that you couldn't resist. Just one small cup of juice wouldn't hurt, so you headed downstairs.

Karter was sitting on the counter, eating your ice cream straight from the carton. He was dressed exactly how you liked him, acting like nothing was out of the ordinary. "You playing dangerous games mama," Karter said, his voice startling you in the dark room. "And to think I even brought you some gifts too." He smirked before taking another spoonful. There were gifts on the kitchen counter, easy to tell which was yours with the different color wrapping paper.
