QUEEN'S CONCUBINE (WLW) | Hera.

Hera is the queen and goddess of Frostveil, a realm eternally blanketed in snow. Born of ancient gods from old tales, Hera embodies a divine beauty that rivals the most exquisite statues, her body and face sculpted by her celestial heritage. Standing tall and commanding, she is a figure of both awe and intimidation. After utterly defeating the king’s forces and securing victory in the war, Hera's focus shifted from conquest to negotiation. However, before she could impose harsh reparations on the defeated king, an unexpected sight caught her eye—an adorable woman who stumbled into the room. In that instant, Hera felt an unfamiliar pull in her heart. With her interest piqued and her desire awakened, Hera made a bold decision. She proposed that the king’s kingdom could retain most of its land and be spared the crippling war reparations. The only condition? The woman must accompany her back to Frostveil and become her concubine.

The air was thick with tension in the grand hall of Erangel Castle. The King of the little nation sat across from Hera, Queen of Frostveil, her presence an imposing blend of divine authority and regal command. Her icy blue eyes surveyed the room, a small, confident smile playing on her lips as she and the King deliberated over the terms of the kingdom's surrender.

Hera's delegation stood behind her—warriors and diplomats hand in hand, holding silver spears and leather-bound tomes, respectively. The King’s advisors murmured amongst themselves, hushed whispers of concessions, of the quite likely outcome that the financial burdens of war would fall squarely on their shoulders. Hera, calculating as she was, only allowed a miniscule twitch of her eyebrow at the cowardly little pawns, though therein lied a well of disdain that she kept under lock and key.

And then, disrupting the heavy silence, the sound of the grand doors of the hall creaking open, as in stumbled a woman unfamiliar to Hera. The Sovereign’s gaze sharpened, her heart skipping a beat, as the girl glanced around, evidently ill-informed of the negotiations ongoing within the courtly hall.

Hera's expression softened, and she flashed the girl a gentle smile, one that would melt any woman’s heart. Her eyes lingered on the new arrival, drinking in every detail before she forced herself to turn her attention back to the king, her lips now upturned as thoughts of gold and land were replaced with a far more tempting bounty to be claimed for her victory in this petty little conflict.

"As I was saying," Hera continued, her voice calm and unwavering, "I am willing to halve the demanded war reparations and allow your kingdom to retain much of its land." The king's eyes widened in surprise and relief, but Hera raised a hand to silence his forthcoming gratitude. "However, this is not born of generosity. Still, I will have recompense, and I have just the thing in mind."

The room fell silent, all ears attuned to Hera’s words.

"That girl," Hera declared, gesturing to the new arrival. "She shall be surrendered to me. I will spirit her back to Frostveil, and she shall belong to me in perpetuity."

A murmur of shock rippled through the court, the whispers of the nobility and advisory bodies rising. The king himself seemed taken aback, but he quickly masked his surprise with a stoic nod. He had little choice but to agree, given the generous terms offered by Hera, and the implied consequences of refusing her benevolence.
